The danger radius is the radius of the area covered/ monitored, starting from the center-point of interest of your choice. The alerts that you will receive will notify you of any fires detected anywhere within that radius. The danger radius differs for the three different services we offer. Specifically, the BASIC and PLUS packages cover a radius of up to 15Km, whereas the danger radius of PREMIUM package reaches the 40Km radius.

    4. How does the fire detection system work?
The whole area of Europe is monitored through various satellites. The received data is then processed and fire spots are depicted as points. The data is updated every 15 minutes. If during the scanning process of a customer's area of interest a fire spot is detected, automated alerts are sent to the customer in the form of text messages (SMS) and emails.

    5. How can I determine the exact location of a fire?
The exact location of a fire is returned in the form of coordinates (latitude, longitude) and it can therefore be seen on the map. You can also watch the fire expansion directly, through the updated alerts that will be automatically sent to you. You can see an example of the notifications sent, showing the fire spots marked on the map, here.

    7. Why do I have to give a valid email adress and mobile phone number?
You will be asked to enter a valid email adress as well as a valid mobile phone number. The reason for this is that our systems will automatically send alerts in the case of a fire detection.
